Customer Category Manager (Retail)

Location: Remote within the United States, with preference for the Eastern or Central time zone. The role is associated with Springdale, Arkansas, and requires travel 6–12 times per year.

Base pay: $102,000–$170,000 per year, plus potential additional compensation and an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with Ahold Delhaize USA retail teams and translate shopper and market insights into recommendations.
• Analyze category, competitive, market, loyalty program, POS, panel, and syndicated data.
• Guide assortment and space strategy and build category business plans with the Sales team.
• Lead Category Reviews, Business Reviews, Top-to-Top presentations, and New Item launches.
• Conduct post-promotional analysis and maintain performance scorecards.
• Support distribution, volume, and share growth for the retailer and hirify.global.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales, or Consumer Insights.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms, including Circana, Nielsen, 84.51, or Numerator.
• Strong presentation, influence, communication, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States, preferably aligned with Eastern or Central time, and travel 6–12 times per year.
