Design Associate - Corporate Workplace (Corporate Workplace)

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; or Washington, DC. Requires a 40-hour in-office work week, with site visits and in-person stakeholder workshops as needed.

Base salary: $60,000–$150,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop workplace planning and interior design solutions that support user experience, functionality, sustainability, brand alignment, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate pre-design and design activities with architects, designers, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Gather requirements from business leaders, present design options, and facilitate timely decisions across stakeholders.
• Create schematic designs, test fits, finish palettes, furniture plans, design narratives, and presentation materials.
• Maintain and improve design standards, workplace products, guidelines, and purchasing agreements across hirify.global's corporate and retail projects.
• Manage hirify.global's corporate art program, including artwork inventory, placement, and purchasing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Knowledge of workplace strategy, space planning, architectural design, construction management, and project management.
• Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD or Autodesk products, Bluebeam, and 3D modeling and rendering workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, stakeholder management, judgment, and proactive problem-solving skills.
