Interior Designer II (Marine)

Location: Miami, Florida; in-office in South Florida Monday through Thursday, with work from home permitted on Fridays. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. The role includes 25–50% ship-based travel.

What you will do

• Support interior design for fleet refurbishments, new-build projects, and physical and functional improvements.
• Create specifications for furniture, fabrics, wall treatments, lighting, interior finishes, and other FF&E solutions.
• Produce renderings, drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, 3D models, presentation boards, and area specifications.
• Develop and manage multiple large-scale design projects while aligning solutions with business objectives, goals, and budgets.
• Review contractor substitutions, shop drawings, completed projects, and rework requirements to maintain design integrity.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and business sponsors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial and/or marine environment design experience.
• Experience designing large public spaces.
• Exceptional AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D rendering skills.
• Good 3D hand-sketching skills.
• Ability to work from the designated South Florida office and travel ship-based 25–50%.
