Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China; additional posting location: Shanghai, China. The role includes up to 20% domestic and international travel.

What you will do
- Define and lead the China market technology agenda in alignment with business, regional, enterprise architecture, security, and compliance priorities.
- Partner with China business leaders, GS Suzhou leaders, regional teams, global technology groups, and external partners to shape demand, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
- Drive digital, AI, data, automation, service, and platform initiatives that improve growth, productivity, user experience, and operational resilience.
- Represent China market requirements in regional and global governance while ensuring solutions reflect local regulations, cybersecurity, data, language, and adoption needs.
- Track delivery performance, adoption, value realization, risk, and service outcomes, escalating blocked or misaligned priorities.
- Lead matrixed teams and develop capabilities in technology leadership, digital adoption, product thinking, data, automation, risk awareness, and execution.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of progressive technology leadership experience across market, regional, product, digital, data, security, or enterprise transformation roles.
- Strong understanding of China’s business, technology, regulatory, cybersecurity, data, and operating environment.
- Experience shaping roadmaps, managing trade-offs, influencing senior leaders, and driving execution across matrixed teams.
- Experience delivering digital, AI, data, automation, platform, or service technology initiatives with measurable adoption and business value.
- Experience using AI to enhance product capabilities, improve user experience, and drive business outcomes, including understanding of agentic AI and responsible AI practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology topics into practical business decisions.
