Sr Manager Software Engineering (Insurance Software)

What you will do

• Lead a team of 50–80 people delivering business solutions and end-to-end services for clients.
• Manage service delivery, staffing, estimates, customer concerns, operational issues, timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with account teams, solution architects, offshore delivery teams, and centers of excellence to identify and implement solution opportunities.
• Review application and component-level designs, guide development of flexible reusable components, and ensure alignment with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate application architects and development teams across requirements, technical documentation, testing, integration, and deployment.
• Oversee budgets, hiring, training, performance management, employee development, and personnel recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience managing and leading teams; experience managing 50+ employees is required.
• Experience in service integration, insurance, or banking environments delivering software-related solutions or services.
• Experience managing customers, expectations, delivery timelines, software design, software development life cycle, development methodologies, and implementation.
• Knowledge of application development policies, product systems design principles, programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative thinking, design, communication, multitasking, and independent working skills.
