Lead DevOps Engineer (Hospitality)

Location: Remote within the United States; based at hirify.global Worldwide Headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Travel up to 10% and participation in on-call rotations are required.

Salary: $90,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Annual Incentive Bonus Plan.

What you will do

• Architect enterprise cloud platforms, DevOps reference patterns, automation solutions, and tooling strategies.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD tools and pipelines across Agile development teams, with GitLab preferred.
• Build code-driven automation for consistent development, testing, and production environments using Groovy, Shell, Python, Terraform, Java, or JavaScript.
• Configure, tune, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters, with Amazon EKS preferred.
• Maintain containerized applications with Docker or similar technologies.
• Guide UI, API, and microservices implementation while supporting reliability engineering, security improvements, and mission-critical cloud services.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in technology or a related field.
• At least four years of experience with CI tools such as GitLab or Bamboo and with automation supporting Continuous Delivery.
• At least three years administering Kubernetes and at least three years working with AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and experience with Python or Terraform scripting.
• Experience supporting reliability efforts and participating in on-call rotations.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience through an associate degree or high school education.
• Seven or more years of technology experience.
• Five years of experience with CI, cloud, and Kubernetes platforms.
• One year of management experience.
