What you will do

• Lead multiple Epic clinical application projects from inception through delivery.
• Design, configure, build, test, enhance, and support assigned Epic modules, including Beacon.
• Collaborate with end users on Epic system design, workflow improvements, corrective configuration, and enhancements.
• Lead small- to medium-complexity Epic upgrades and workflow enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze clinical workflows, data collection, reports, and technical issues to develop system recommendations.
• Maintain system design, build, validation, and other required documentation while managing follow-up and issue escalation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or four years of related IT experience.
• Clinical Epic certifications in two modules, including required Beacon certification.
• Four to seven years of experience implementing systems for large organizations.
• Four to seven years of experience with change management processes for IT projects.
• Five years of direct experience developing, implementing, and supporting healthcare information systems and clinical applications.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation workflows, order sets, order workflows, patient portals, encounter closing, and patient flow.

Nice to have

• Experience in a pediatric, tertiary, or quaternary health system.
