What you will do

• Define, document, build, maintain, and continuously improve EHR application content for hospital billing.
• Create functional specifications and validate application content with business owners.
• Independently lead projects, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and follow project management standards.
• Serve as an application expert, investigate complex issues, and coordinate resolution across IT and application teams.
• Act as a liaison between IT, operational customers, and vendors; facilitate meetings and maintain related documentation.
• Provide user support, documentation, on-call or after-hours support as required, and mentorship to junior colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of related experience, including direct EHR implementation and support experience or at least 5 years of operational experience with applicable EHR applications.
• Vendor-required certification or accepted proficiency for assigned EHR applications; certification must be obtained within six months when required.
• Advanced application knowledge with the ability to resolve varied and complex problems independently.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
• Ability to communicate complex information in English and collaborate with leaders, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
