Application System Analyst II - Hospital Billing

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite at 5101 North O Connor Boulevard. Full-time schedule of 5 days and 8 hours, with up to 10% overnight travel and occasional additional hours during critical problems.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, test, document, implement, support, and optimize assigned healthcare and hospital billing applications.
• Analyze workflows, gather requirements, map processes, perform gap analysis, and recommend cross-team solutions.
• Support customers and end users, troubleshoot moderate incidents independently, and coordinate responses with the Service Desk, technical teams, and vendors.
• Manage medium-complexity projects and assigned tasks, including status reporting, testing, documentation, and implementation.
• Coordinate application code changes and follow approval, validation, and change-control procedures.
• Provide training, explain complex configuration issues, mentor newer team members, and maintain relationships with operational leaders and end users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or information systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to present complex data using charts and graphs.
• For Epic Analysts: assigned Epic module certification or proficiency must be obtained within 6 months and maintained through version training.

• Certification related to the assigned area of focus.
