Senior Enterprise Risk Consultant (Insurance)

Location: Eastleigh or Glasgow, hybrid working; remote work is available within the UK.

Salary: £42,000–£78,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge across business activities.
• Partner with senior leaders and business owners on risk-related decision-making.
• Embed and improve enterprise risk management practices and risk ownership.
• Deliver clear risk insight, reporting, and governance support.
• Support regulatory compliance, resilience, and a strong risk culture.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise risk within FCA-regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Confidence challenging business owners and holding them accountable.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work within the UK; the role is based in Eastleigh or Glasgow with hybrid attendance.
