Senior Risk Management Consultant (Professions)

Location: LON - London, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office and two days at home

What you will do

• Support and develop the risk management proposition for the Professions portfolio, covering solicitors, accountants, surveyors, and engineers.
• Analyse claims data, recurring errors, current exposures, and claims history to identify trends and future risks.
• Advise insured firms on risk management, legal and professional practice issues, and ways to reduce exposures.
• Visit customer firms, prepare risk reports, and provide risk insights to underwriters.
• Research, prepare, and present seminars, articles, factsheets, and best-practice guides for customers and professional organisations.
• Build relationships with customers, brokers, professional bodies, underwriters, and third-party organisations.

Requirements

• University degree and/or Chartered Insurance Institute certification.
• Working knowledge of insurance and underwriting.
• General knowledge of risk management processes.
• Knowledge of organisational and regulatory rules, policies, and procedures.
• Analytical thinking, financial acumen, relationship management, and sound risk-recommendation skills.
• Confidence communicating with customers and presenting to professional audiences.
