Credentialed Trainer II - Health Informatics

Location: CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, 455 St Michaels Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505, United States. Full-time schedule of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with moderate overnight travel of up to 30%.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and deliver classroom, virtual, workflow-based, and role-specific training for electronic health record applications.
• Support end users through onsite rounding, associate fairs, job shadows, post-live activities, and other support sessions.
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers, Analysts, Informaticists, healthcare leaders, Education, and provisioning teams to align workflows, training, access, and support.
• Review Visio workflows and explain how processes are documented in the EHR.
• Create job aids, maintain online learning modules, and develop Learning Home Dashboards using approved standards.
• Test and troubleshoot training and build environments, escalate operational issues, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in education, Epic end-user support, or a related field required; healthcare education experience is preferred.
• Experience with adult learners and in-person or virtual training is preferred.
• Experience with Epic applications, instructional design, full-cycle implementations, post-live support, or quarterly upgrades is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word; willingness to learn Excel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Lists is required.
• Must achieve designated Epic Credentialed status within 6 months of hire and cross-training with Credentialed status in another Epic application within one year, unless otherwise agreed with the manager.
