AI Intern (SIOP)

What you will do

• Cross-train across the department and develop hands-on skills in industrial and engineering technologies.
• Complete and analyze time and motion studies.
• Document findings, report results, and suggest process changes.
• Create, review, and update process-flow layouts.
• Work with leadership and colleagues on process-improvement initiatives and projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost-saving opportunities related to process, quality, and safety improvements.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, or data-visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, machine learning or natural language processing concepts, and project management or research.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with automation platforms, AI tools, machine learning, natural language processing, or process-improvement research.
