Intern - Technology Innovation Lab (AI)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Research, evaluate, and experiment with computational learning technologies in a technology innovation lab.
• Assess the business impact and viability of emerging technology use cases in financial services.
• Help develop, integrate, prototype, and deploy computational learning capabilities in applications.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data engineers, application developers, IT counterparts, and business partners.
• Present emerging technology capabilities and support adoption of modern technologies and algorithms.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
• Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, .NET, or Java.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, big data analytics, and serverless computing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias, or integrating AI into workflows.
• Understanding of responsible AI, ethics, and data protection.
