Industry Solution Leader - Oil, Gas & Chemical (AI)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Travel to customer locations is required as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

What you will do

• Own solution strategy, technical direction, delivery outcomes, and production scale for customer engagements.
• Act as the primary customer-facing solution leader for engineering, operations, maintenance, reliability, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify opportunities in equipment reliability, maintenance, production performance, process optimization, throughput, yield, quality, and energy efficiency.
• Translate industrial and operational challenges into AI, machine learning, optimization, and software solutions with defined requirements and success criteria.
• Lead use-case definition, solution architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, adoption, and scale-out.
• Lead Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, engineers, and industry experts while supporting sales, statements of work, and reusable industry methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial, mining, metallurgical, petroleum, or materials engineering backgrounds are preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technically focused consulting.
• Hands-on experience inside a refinery, chemical plant, or similar continuous-process facility, including distillation, reactors, furnaces, compressors, heat exchangers, or utilities.
• Experience owning or improving throughput, yield, energy, advanced process control, process control, reliability, production performance, maintenance effectiveness, quality, or operating economics.
• Experience with industrial data and systems such as sensor and time-series data, process historians, SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, advanced process control, or industrial analytics platforms.
• United States work authorization without current or future company sponsorship is required. Ability to travel to customer locations is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, optimization, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, process optimization, or industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, analytics tools, application configuration, scripting, and industrial data analysis.
• Experience scaling technical solutions from proof of value through production across multiple assets, plants, facilities, or business units.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
