AI Developer Co-op - Graduate Program (9 Months)

Location: Hybrid in Ewing, New Jersey during Summer 2027, with remote work during school semesters; U.S. work authorization required.

What you will do

• Develop and prototype AI and machine learning solutions for business needs.
• Build and test applications using generative AI, large language models, APIs, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Create prompts, workflows, and evaluation methods to improve AI-generated outputs.
• Prepare, transform, and retrieve structured and unstructured data for AI applications.
• Assess AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, safety, performance, and business value.
• Present prototypes, findings, technical approaches, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a master’s program in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Programming experience with Python or another relevant language, plus foundational knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science.
• Experience working with data and developing technical solutions to complex problems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule in Ewing, NJ during Summer 2027 and remotely during school semesters.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, or applied AI projects.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI agents, or model evaluation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, testing, version control, notebooks, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
