Credentialed Trainer I - Ambulatory (Epic)

Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico, United States. Onsite end-user support is required, with moderate overnight travel of up to 30%.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and deliver classroom, virtual, eLearning, workflow-based, and role-specific training for electronic health record implementation and adoption.
• Support end users through rounding, job shadows, associate fairs, scheduled support activities, and proactive identification of training needs.
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers, Clinical Informatics teams, Health System leaders, Education, and end users to align training and support with approved workflows.
• Prepare classrooms and learning materials, maintain online learning modules, and create job aids using approved templates and style guides.
• Review Visio workflows, test and troubleshoot training and build environments, and relay issues or improvement opportunities to senior team members.
• Coordinate with provisioning teams to confirm required training before access is granted, attend meetings, and deliver assignments on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least one year of education experience; healthcare education experience is preferred.
• Experience with adult learners and in-person or virtual training is preferred.
• Experience with instructional design, training, the Epic system, Microsoft Office, and an industry learning management system is preferred.
• Experience or willingness to learn Excel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Lists is required.
• Achieve designated Epic Credentialed status within six months of hire and cross-training with credentialed status in another Epic application within one year, unless otherwise agreed with management.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Credentialed Trainer, End User, Informaticist, Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or Facilitator for one or more Epic applications.
• Experience with multiple full-cycle implementations, post-live support, and quarterly upgrades.
• Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
