Manager, Business Systems Owner (Lab Systems)

Salary: $109,500–$208,500 base pay annually

What you will do

• Lead capabilities for sample management, stability study operations, reference standard management, and lab inventory management across QA laboratories.
• Develop multi-year technology strategies, roadmaps, and business cases for laboratory solutions.
• Plan and oversee technology projects from ideation through completion, including portfolios exceeding $14 million.
• Coordinate with IT, manufacturing sites, vendors, and global laboratory stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
• Evaluate current and emerging technologies while balancing business objectives, usability, cost of ownership, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage team workload, performance reviews, hiring, development, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience including laboratory work, business analysis, project management, and strategic execution.
• Required experience with lab systems, including LIMS, ELN, CDS, inventory, or asset management.
• Strong analytical, judgment, consultative, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance stakeholder interests and set direction for complex implementations.
