Forward Deployed Engineer (Audio & Voice AI) (Voice AI/audio intelligence): Driving customer deployments and integrating audio intelligence technology into production Voice AI stacks with an accent on evaluation design, real-time audio pipelines, and production ML constraints. Focus on debugging SDK and streaming issues, building scalable deployment workflows, and translating customer failure modes into product and research improvements.

is a rapidly growing Voice AI startup building an audio intelligence layer and developer tooling for voice agents and Physical AI applications.
What you will do
- Own technical customer engagements from discovery and evaluation through production deployment.
- Design evaluations with representative datasets, meaningful baselines, metrics, benchmarks, demos, and qualitative examples.
- Integrate and configure audio technology in customer Voice AI stacks, write code, debug real-time audio pipelines, and resolve SDK issues.
- Build standardized deployment workflows, tools, reference implementations, and documentation.
- Identify recurring customer failure modes and integration friction, then turn them into actionable product and research input.
- Contribute to case studies, technical content, talks, product education, and launches.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-time experience in a technically demanding engineering role, with ownership of complex projects from ambiguity to real-world outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with audio, speech, Voice AI, audio DSP, or a closely related field.
- Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or another quantitative STEM discipline.
- Understanding of production ML systems, including inference, latency, CPU and memory usage, concurrency, streaming state, and reliability.
- Solid engineering skills and required Python experience; Rust is a plus.
- Strong communication, product judgment, startup adaptability, and effective use of coding agents and AI tools without sacrificing technical judgment.
