Location: Must be based in Poland, Georgia, Serbia, or Cyprus. Remote or hybrid setup available.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the platform rebuild.
• Clarify and challenge requirements provided by PO/BAs and end-users.
• Propose and defend technical solutions to ensure the system handles exceptional scenarios.
• Provide L2/L3 support for the product.
• Modernize the system architecture and underlying technologies of the ECHO platform.

Requirements

• Based in Poland, Georgia, Serbia, or Cyprus.
• 5+ years of Java programming experience, including Java Core and multithreading.
• Experience with Kafka or other real-time messaging systems.
• Proficiency with database systems such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.

Nice to have

• Experience with recovery mechanisms and exception management.
• Strong analytical ability to perform reverse engineering of existing code.
