Electrical R&D Engineer (Display Lab) III - (E3)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan; onsite role with 20% travel

What you will do

• Develop and implement electrical designs for existing and future display equipment using data-based E-CAD systems such as Zuken E3S.
• Apply AMAT design standards and international certification requirements, including SEMI S2, UL, and NFPA.
• Implement automation and electrical design solutions using Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT, and TwinSafe.
• Manage electrical design projects from drafting through implementation and coordinate external suppliers.
• Test and validate control systems and control architectures while resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with physicists, designers, and system engineers across the USA, Europe, and Asia; occasional travel is required.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience designing and developing power distribution and digital control electronics.
• Good understanding of automation and electromechanical process control, including motor and drive controls and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of IEC, SEMI, and UL standards.
• TOEIC score of 700 or higher required.
