Patent Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Work with R&D engineers to identify and document patentable inventions.
• Draft patent applications and support inventors with timely, accurate invention disclosures.
• Conduct patent searches, analyses, and industry trend research.
• Support internal and cross-department projects.
• Deliver intellectual property training to engineering personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related science, technology, or engineering field.
• Good English communication skills are required; a TOEIC score of 750 or above is required.
• Strong learning ability and a passion for technology and intellectual property.
• At least three years of related experience in patent application and management is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with patent laws and practices in the United States, China, and Taiwan.
