Engineer II, Field Services (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu City, Taiwan; field service activities based in Tainan

What you will do

• Deliver field service support at customer locations, including equipment troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, upgrades, startup, and commissioning.
• Provide technical assistance by email and phone, and conduct customer training.
• Diagnose electromechanical systems using schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Promote, manage, and execute Preventive Maintenance Agreements at customer sites.
• Prepare service documentation, parts, labor, and travel requirements, and provide feedback to engineering, quality, sales, and application teams.
• Support regional and global field-service teams through email and international travel as required.

Requirements

• Technical, engineering, or scientific degree, or equivalent field service experience.
• Fluent Mandarin and written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to obtain a valid passport and visas required for international travel.
• Familiarity with MS Office; SAP and PLC skills are advantageous.
• Semiconductor or gas industry experience is advantageous.
