Mechanical Engineer (Display Lab)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan; onsite role

What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, specifications, tooling, fixturing, and chamber systems.
• Conduct engineering analysis, testing, and documentation, including test reports.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, develop key suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Coordinate the procurement, manufacturing, installation, assembly, and disassembly of mechanical components and equipment.
• Implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues and establish standards across operational processes.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, materials science, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience designing or modifying mechanical systems, equipment, tooling, or components.
• Ability to perform engineering analysis and resolve technical issues with limited supervision.
• Experience with 3D/2D design tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD is preferred.
• Vacuum or chamber design experience is preferred.
