Senior IT Project Manager (Financial Services Regulatory)

What you will do

• Manage IT projects from initiation and planning through delivery and closure.
• Lead regulatory-driven transformation initiatives in the financial services sector.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, interdisciplinary teams, and senior management.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation measures, and manage budgets and resources.
• Ensure quality standards, project governance, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Prepare management status reports and present project results.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in an international environment.
• Extensive IT project or program management experience within financial services.
• Experience with regulatory-driven initiatives, complex multi-stakeholder deliveries, and senior or C-level stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of banking platforms such as hirify.global or similar core banking systems.
• Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies, project governance, and risk management.
• Full professional fluency in German and a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
