Physician - Virtual Health Assessment (Part-Time)

Location: Remote from one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $104.00–$136.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a virtual setting.
• Deliver care through audio, video, and written communication.
• Use remote monitoring equipment, remote physical exams, and point-of-care diagnostics to conduct virtual assessments.
• Follow up on laboratory results, imaging, and communication with patients and other providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice leads, nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors.
• Provide feedback on operational workflows and virtual care product features while participating in clinical meetings and case conferences.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• At least 3 years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering virtual care.
• Full medical license required in Tennessee and either Florida or Texas; telehealth-only licenses are not accepted.
• 20–29 hours per week, scheduled as two 10-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including a 6:00–7:00 p.m. lunch break.

Nice to have

• Compact license through IMLCC.
• Spanish fluency.
• Ability and willingness to obtain additional licenses in Oscar Medical Group states.
