Virtual Primary Care Physician (Telehealth)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $203,800–$339,600 annual, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Provide virtual primary care and urgent care consultations, including clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic telehealth services.
• Manage administrative clinical responsibilities such as in-basket management, medical records, meetings, provider cross-coverage, and compliance activities.
• Participate in and lead designated primary care teams while collaborating with patients, nurses, call center staff, colleagues, and senior leadership.
• Maintain patient quality, clinical competency, satisfaction, and connectivity standards.
• Supervise APRNs in accordance with applicable state requirements.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety reviews, mentoring, and the development of virtual primary care workflows, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• MD or DO with ABMS Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• At least two years of board certification and four years of post-residency primary care experience.
• Active or maintainable medical licenses in applicable states, prescribing and dispensing approvals, Medicare and Medicaid participation, MDLIVE medical staff privileges, and DEA licensure.
• Complete required telemedicine, compliance, continuing medical education, chart review, and Medical Staff activities.
• Work a minimum of 40 clinical hours per week, including 35 hours of direct patient care and five hours of administrative time.
• Work remotely from within the United States with cable broadband or fiber internet providing at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
