What you will do

• Coordinate the manufacturing site's master production plan, firmed orders, production schedules, and finished-goods delivery.
• Lead daily schedule reviews, weekly and monthly production planning, and the weekly MPS lock discussion with cross-functional plant groups.
• Oversee work order coordinators and specialists by providing guidance, coaching, and strategic direction.
• Manage unplanned orders, material availability checks, delivery commitments, and proactive communication of schedule changes and risks.
• Analyze actuals versus plan, volume estimates, inventory investment, demand, capacity, lead times, and production variances.
• Maintain the effectiveness of the INFOR planning system and support new product introduction focused on process quality and schedule adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, science, or engineering; an MBA is desirable.
• At least five years of materials management experience, including master production scheduling, inventory control, production activity control, and materials requirement planning.
• Hands-on experience with computerized inventory control systems, SAP, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, statistical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to evaluate forecasts, demand, capacity constraints, product mix, service levels, quality, and the impact of new products on plant load.
• Ability to work onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States.
