Electrical Systems Manager (Electrical Systems)

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year

What you will do

• Own the technical management and safe operation of electrical systems above 50 volts.
• Oversee high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, distribution panels, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Establish inspection programs and maintain compliance with electrical codes, laws, and company standards.
• Maintain equipment records, single-line drawings, short-circuit studies, arc-flash studies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead responses to electrical emergencies and coordinate with utility companies, internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide electrical safety training and support continuous improvement and HS&E audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, research, and academic projects count.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and technical solution development skills.
• Ability to lead projects, manage timelines and budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders from operators to senior management.
• Willingness to relocate throughout the career as business and development opportunities arise.
