Senior Commercial Development Manager (Portfolio Strategy)

Location: Shanghai, China. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation assistance is offered.

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of the China portfolio deployment strategy.
• Translate global portfolio direction and local commercial priorities into clear strategies, recommendations, and executable plans.
• Drive portfolio differentiation, listing strategy, and related governance.
• Partner with cross-functional and global teams to align decisions and execution.
• Turn complex portfolio topics and differentiation needs into actionable commercial choices.
• Support broader commercial strategy initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn complex information and ambiguity into clear recommendations.
• Clear and concise communication skills, including experience engaging multiple functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to connect data and insights to commercial decisions.
• Ability to work from the Shanghai workplace under the hybrid policy, averaging 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience in portfolio strategy, category management, commercial strategy, channel strategy, or a related field.
• Experience working on global projects or within a matrix organization.
