Supplier Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia; travel required up to 50% of the time

What you will do

• Work with New Product Development teams to clarify engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Engage suppliers in specification development and reviews to support design for manufacturability.
• Investigate alternative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve quality and reliability.
• Contribute to supplier selection and development of a competitive supply base across quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
• Support quality problem resolution and incident management.

Requirements

• Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within an engineering discipline.
• General business knowledge gained through education or previous experience.
• Ability to use established procedures to solve standard problems and make judgments based on available information.
• Clear interpersonal communication, including asking questions and confirming understanding.
• New college graduate profile; no supervisory experience required.
