Program Manager, Safeguards Workforce Operations (AI)

Location: San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, or Washington, DC; hybrid attendance in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $245,000–$285,000 USD

What you will do

• Own onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and access provisioning for contractor, vendor, and BPO reviewers.
• Triage and execute requests for new or changing workforce capacity.
• Convert broken or ad hoc processes into scalable workflows with clear ownership, service levels, and systems of record.
• Partner with IT and Security on least-privilege access, timely revocation, and regular access reviews.
• Build capacity plans with Safeguards Enforcement leads and translate review demand into workforce requirements.
• Manage vendor commitments, align scaled human review practices, and contribute to long-term workforce strategy.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience running onboarding, offboarding, access, and device provisioning for contractor, vendor, or BPO workforces.
• Experience operating scaled human review programs such as trust and safety, content moderation, or data annotation.
• Experience making broken or ad hoc processes scalable and driving adoption across teams.
• Understanding of capacity planning, including volume, handle time, quality targets, ramp, and attrition.
• Sound judgment regarding access and permissions, including when to involve IT or Security.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience; relevant field of study required.

Nice to have

• Direct ownership of vendor or BPO relationships, including service levels and business reviews.
• Formal capacity modeling experience for review or operations workforces.
• Experience supporting multiple enforcement or harm areas.
• Hands-on experience with device management and identity and access tools.
• Experience scaling programs during hypergrowth.
