Technical Program Manager, AI Physical Deployment

Location: AMER; remote-first, with periodic travel to data center project sites and deployment locations.

Salary: $190,000–$236,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission.

What you will do

• Own complex technical programs across the physical data center deployment lifecycle.
• Define success metrics, delivery schedules, governance structures, escalation paths, and operational rhythms.
• Coordinate Data Center Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Commercial, Security, Network, Operations, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive rack integration, hardware delivery, commissioning, and onsite deployment initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks, manage critical-path dependencies and risks, and resolve cross-functional conflicts.
• Build playbooks, standardized templates, reporting frameworks, and continuous-improvement processes while mentoring field technicians and site teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical program management experience leading complex, large-scale infrastructure or physical deployment programs.
• Strong understanding of data center physical infrastructure, networking, hardware architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with program management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, written communication, verbal communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments with dynamic priorities.
• Availability to work in the AMER region and travel periodically to data center sites and deployment locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center infrastructure deployment, rack integration, and hardware commissioning.
• Experience in hyperscale or public cloud environments supporting 24/7 mission-critical operations.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, high-density compute, or cloud region deployments.
• Knowledge of site development, procurement, construction, commissioning, power infrastructure, cooling systems, switchgear, and MEP dependencies.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, or certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma.
