Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Colombia, Mexico, or Europe

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, technical presentations, RFP responses, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence.
• Design payment orchestration solutions and integration architectures tailored to each merchant.
• Own implementations from kickoff and integration planning through testing and production go-live.
• Guide merchant developers through APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment method configurations.
• Troubleshoot payment flows, API logs, and third-party provider integrations.
• Create reusable demo environments, integration guides, and technical documentation, then provide complete handoffs to Technical Account Management.

Requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• More than 4 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical implementation, or integration roles.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, HTTP debugging, and at least one programming language.
• Knowledge of payment gateways, PSPs, acquirers, card networks, 3DS, tokenization, refunds, chargebacks, and alternative payment methods.
• Experience delivering integration projects with external development teams and managing multiple merchants or deals in parallel.
• Experience with SQL and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.

Nice to have

• Spanish or Portuguese proficiency.
