Retail Facilities Manager

Location: Yonkers, New York, United States; onsite in a physical retail store

Annual base pay: USD 98,550–109,500

What you will do

• Lead a team of 3+ facilities professionals, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs, targeting 90%+ on-time completion and minimizing operational downtime.
• Manage third-party vendors for fire and life safety, vertical transportation, janitorial, pest control, and other services.
• Use CMMS and building management systems to analyze performance, prioritize work, and implement energy conservation initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, inspections, compliance activities, emergency response, root-cause analyses, and documentation.
• Manage operational and capital budgets while maintaining building safety, environmental, and maintenance compliance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of facilities management experience, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and building operations oversight.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and capital expenditure planning.
• Proven team leadership, coaching, project management, prioritization, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms such as Maintenance Connection, Google Suite, and building automation systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and automation systems, with the ability to interpret architectural plans.
• Ability to work in a physically active environment, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs independently.

Nice to have

• Experience in large-format or big-box retail.
• IFMA CFM or BOMA FMC certification.
