Warehouse Team Lead - HDO

Location: Pompano Beach, Florida, United States; onsite warehouse position. Full-time schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $19.75–$21.25 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and a peak-season bonus of up to $1,200.

What you will do

• Support the supervisor in overseeing Home Delivery Operations across receiving, deluxing, picking, staging, and outbound loading.
• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 6–15 associates, assign work, provide coaching, and address performance or operational issues.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, daily stretches, safety checks, and SOP compliance activities.
• Oversee deluxing, including unboxing, inspection, assembly with hand and power tools, cleaning, repackaging, damage evaluation, and minor furniture repair.
• Manage inbound trailers, delivery vehicle loading, driver returns, cycle counts, inventory audits, and outbound route accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and support facility opening or closing when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience and experience across more than one warehouse department.
• Strong leadership, motivation, judgment, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work on the warehouse floor for 10 hours per day, repeatedly bend, stretch, reach, and stand, and lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to maneuver products weighing 150+ pounds independently or with a team lift.
• Experience composing and responding to emails and internal instant messages.
• Experience with warehouse management and exception ticket management systems.

Nice to have

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential.
• PIV certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
