Receiving and Distribution Lead

Location: Full-time onsite at 2350 Davis Avenue, Hayward, CA 94545, USA; not remote or hybrid eligible.

Salary: $26.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Receive inbound raw goods and vendor-supplied partial kits, verifying quantities and completeness against bills of materials.
• Report shortages, discrepancies, and damaged goods, then coordinate accurate shelving and inventory-system updates.
• Use site-specific packing lists to verify quantities, apply location labels, and prepare complete pallets for scheduled pickups.
• Direct seasonal temporary labor during box movement and palletizing while maintaining accuracy and pace.
• Unload returned materials and support sorting, staging, put-away, and inventory updates after quality-control processing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, receiving, or distribution operations.
• Experience operating forklifts, electric pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to unload and move boxes, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; ability to read packing lists and location labels.
• Experience directing, training, or informally leading temporary or seasonal labor.
• Familiarity with computer-based inventory management systems and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Fluent spoken Spanish.
• Experience in a highly seasonal or education-related operations environment.
