Lead Hardware Returns Specialist

Location: 1200 Technology Way, Libertyville, Illinois; on-site across multiple campus facilities

hirify.global operates an Engineered Solutions operations department supporting hardware returns and warehouse processes.

What you will do

• Lead daily hardware returns operations, assign work, prioritize queues, balance workloads, and coordinate facility coverage.
• Inspect returned computer hardware, verify serial numbers, part numbers, configurations, product conditions, and system records.
• Process RMAs and vendor returns, maintain documentation, and resolve authorization, credit, replacement, and substitution issues.
• Coordinate hardware disassembly, inventory movements, replacement processing, packaging, labeling, outbound shipments, and carrier handoffs.
• Support customer-owned defective products and coordinate replacement, repair, credit, or other disposition actions.
• Train team members, maintain work instructions, investigate recurring issues, and support root-cause analysis and process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in warehouse operations, electronics repair, reverse logistics, hardware returns, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, configurations, serial-number tracking, product identification, RMA, vendor return, inventory-control, and shipping processes.
• Experience with inventory, ERP, warehouse management, RMA, vendor, or related systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead, organize work, train and mentor team members, solve problems, and coordinate across multiple facilities.
• Ability to lift and move hardware and packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
