Interior Design Advisor (Luxury Retail)

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, United States; physical retail in-store

Salary: $28–$30 per hour, plus quarterly sales bonuses and uncapped commission opportunities

What you will do

• Provide an inviting luxury retail experience and support customer satisfaction.
• Manage a portfolio of trade and consumer design clients, including prospecting and relationship development.
• Guide customers through large-scale luxury projects, custom product development, materials, fabrics, finishes, and product purchases.
• Conduct virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments, including product curation, design deliverables, and follow-up.
• Use design software, sales analytics, moodboards, space plans, and 2D/3D room views to support store growth.
• Meet sales and customer satisfaction targets while supporting floor sets, replenishment, product changes, and other store operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture retailer.
• Professional portfolio and experience managing large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers.
• Strong organization, communication, self-motivation, customer relationship management, and sales skills.
• Ability to learn and use CRM, POS, and design tools such as Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred.
• Availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays; a valid driver’s license is required for in-home design visits.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands, materials, construction, and custom programs.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with luxury design and furniture sales.
