Mechanic I

Location: Lathrop, California, United States; onsite warehouse role.

Salary: $30.25–$32.25 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair conveyor systems, sorters, unloaders, dock equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on powered industrial vehicles, conveyors, dock equipment, electrical panels, and other assigned assets.
• Complete emergency repairs and coordinate appropriate vendors when required.
• Perform building maintenance, including basic carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, cleaning, and assigned facilities projects.
• Operate aerial platform lifts, boom and snorkel lifts, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet runners, and related warehouse equipment.
• Follow OSHA, state, and local safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout, and complete work orders, logs, and CMMS records.

Requirements

• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience or relevant certification is required.
• Experience with basic carpentry, painting, drywall, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, PLC systems, computers, and CMMS software.
• Ability to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment with low lighting and to work scheduled or unscheduled overtime.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds and safely bend, stretch, crawl, reach, climb ladders, and access all building areas.
• Personal protective equipment, including arc-flash protection and safety shoes, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience operating order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
