Planning & Allocation Senior Associate

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Full-time role based in the Boston office; in-office attendance is required Monday through Thursday, with optional work from home on Friday. Relocation assistance and immigration-related visa sponsorship are not available.

Annual base pay: $83,500–$92,250, depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional equity, bonuses, commissions, and benefits may be provided.

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and refine inventory allocation strategies for physical retail stores.
• Analyze demand, assortment gaps, market trends, competitor insights, and store performance to improve availability and inventory turns.
• Adjust allocation and inventory strategies as business priorities change.
• Partner with Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Inventory Management, Supplier Inventory Management, and Store Operations.
• Track KPIs, communicate performance insights, and lead action plans to address gaps.
• Build tools, dashboards, and workflows that streamline and scale allocation processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in allocation, replenishment, planning, or a related analytical or operational role.
• Experience independently owning allocation or inventory strategies with measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and formulas, GBQ, and internal reporting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and influence cross-functional partners.
• Ability to prioritize work independently while balancing execution speed and strategic depth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred; retail experience is strongly preferred.
