Labor Planning Manager (Operations)

Location: Cranbury, New Jersey, United States; onsite warehouse role

Annual base pay: $105,500–$116,750

What you will do

• Create daily operating plans for the fulfillment site and resolve variances between plans, actual performance, and goals.
• Monitor work-in-process backlogs and assess their impact on staffing and future planning.
• Support strategic shift planning using mid- and long-term volume projections.
• Analyze historical data, forecast demand, and interpret daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports.
• Make real-time staffing and operational adjustments and facilitate problem-solving when goals are missed due to attrition, absenteeism, or productivity issues.
• Collaborate with site operations, Network Planning, Industrial Engineering, Process Definition, and Standards Excellence teams to improve capacity and throughput performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of operational experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• Experience in capacity planning or an Industrial Engineering background focused on operations flow and labor management.
• Ability to guide and influence peers and leaders across organizational levels.
• Technical aptitude with Google Suite, data visualization platforms, and basic SQL/GBQ.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, business, or an equivalent field.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, and technical or statistical tools for process improvement.
