Human Resources Business Partner - Contract

Location: Kinston, North Carolina, United States; onsite 100%. Travel of up to 10% domestically and internationally is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness.
• Identify HR challenges and develop practical solutions aligned with business needs and policies.
• Conduct employee-relations investigations, document findings, and recommend outcomes with the HR Director.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee engagement, reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Lead change-management initiatives and translate operational requirements into scalable HR programs with Centers of Excellence.
• Support focus groups, exit interviews, engagement surveys, workforce-development initiatives, and cross-functional HR projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 or more years of progressive HR experience in a Center of Excellence or generalist role.
• Proficiency with HRIS tools such as ADP, Workday, or SAP.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to work onsite 100% and meet the listed physical requirements, including regular presence on the production floor.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is strongly desired.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of aerospace experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a multifunctional international environment.
