Human Resources Business Partner (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid role based in Union, New Jersey, or Kansas City, Missouri, United States; domestic travel of approximately 10–15% is required.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD annual base salary for New Jersey.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and management to provide strategic HR guidance and support.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Analyze HR metrics, dashboards, exit interviews, and trends to improve engagement, retention, and performance.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, career development, and change initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and support immigration processes, international transfers, and I-9 audits.
• Develop and evaluate training, compliance, and HR programs in collaboration with HR and legal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 4–6 years of HR Business Partner experience, including employee relations.
• Broad HR knowledge covering compensation, performance management, diversity, and employment law.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, strategic thinking, discretion, and business acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook.
• Experience with Workday, Ceridian, or similar HR systems; willingness to travel domestically approximately 10–15%.
