People Partner

Location: Los Angeles; on-site at the designated Suno office five days a week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Travel of up to 10% may be required to collaborate across Suno office locations.

Salary: $119,600–$157,000 annually, plus target equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with leadership on org design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and people-business tradeoffs.
• Lead complex employee relations investigations and high-stakes performance situations from end to end.
• Adapt and deliver performance management, career progression, learning, and development programs for the assigned function.
• Coach managers and leaders through team scaling, reorganizations, and performance challenges.
• Use workforce data, sentiment, and talent reviews to identify capability gaps, attrition risks, and succession needs.
• Build trust with managers and employees and mentor newer People Partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a People Partner in a high-growth technology environment.
• Independent experience leading complex employee relations investigations and high-stakes performance situations.
• Expertise in org design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and cross-functional program delivery.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law, including Title VII, ADA, and FMLA, plus California employment law.
• Experience with headcount budgeting, workforce modeling, People analytics, and talent management programs.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and interest in building AI-enhanced People workflows.

• Experience building or significantly improving performance management, career progression, or compensation programs.
• Experience designing or scaling succession planning, leadership development, or other learning and development programs.
