Senior Staff RF Engineer (R5991)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; on-site

Salary: $216,000–$325,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the RF team developing a next-generation autonomous aircraft.
• Quantify and optimize RF link performance and resolve desense and interference problems.
• Define system-level and unit-level requirements and features for RF systems.
• Improve RF design, testing, compliance, and engineering processes.
• Define test procedures and train operators and technicians to execute them.
• Mentor engineers, support hiring, and coordinate RF status, risks, plans, and design reviews across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 15+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer working with RF systems.
• Strong technical fundamentals and experience quantifying and improving RF sensitivity performance.
• Experience leading unit-level and system-level design work.
• Experience working across electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software, manufacturing, and production teams.
• Technical mentoring or guidance experience.
