Production Trainer (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Centennial, Colorado, USA; regular presence is required across manufacturing, inspection, laboratory, training, and office areas. Up to 10% travel may be required for instructor certification and training. US citizenship required.

Compensation: $38–$48 per hour, depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Develop, deliver, and maintain classroom and hands-on training for electronics assembly technicians, quality inspectors, and other personnel.
• Provide instruction and certification support for IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
• Manage onboarding, certification, recertification, qualification tracking, scheduling, and audit-ready training records.
• Identify training gaps and deliver refresher or remedial training based on process changes, workmanship issues, NCR trends, audits, and skill deficiencies.
• Coordinate safety training with EHS and Facilities, including PPE, hazard communication, ergonomics, emergency procedures, and new-hire orientation.
• Identify training improvements that increase employee safety, quality, capability, and manufacturing performance.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and workmanship practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain company-sponsored Certified IPC Trainer credentials for the required IPC standards.
• High school diploma or GED required; ability to read drawings, work instructions, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and training systems.

Nice to have

• Current Certified IPC Trainer credentials.
• Technical education or training in electronics manufacturing, electronics assembly, quality, or a related field.
• Previous technical or hands-on training experience.
• Aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics experience.
