What you will do

• Act as a strategic liaison between Discovery stakeholders, omics scientists, data scientists, engineering teams, vendors, and technology delivery organizations.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate scientific and business needs into user stories, process flows, requirements documents, and acceptance criteria.
• Own omics-related systems, supporting enhancements, troubleshooting, optimization, compliance, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate testing, verification, and validation activities with business, data, and technology stakeholders.
• Support value assessments, business cases, prioritization, and solution recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, cell biology, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in business systems analysis, consulting, product ownership, project delivery, technology consulting, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics workflows and data concepts.
• Experience with requirements management, stakeholder facilitation, enterprise software delivery, SDLC methodologies, Agile practices, and modern product delivery.
• Working understanding of large language models, generative AI, and traditional AI/ML concepts.
• Strong analytical, communication, project-management, and relationship-management skills.

Nice to have

• Wet-lab experience.
• Experience with AI, analytics, digital transformation, automation, omics informatics platforms, research data platforms, visualization tools, or cloud environments.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting change management and technology adoption.
