Manufacturing Technician II - DAP (Biomanufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate packaging machinery, select recipes, enter data in SCADA and HMI systems, and make minor equipment adjustments.
• Perform manual packaging, rework, palletizing, material handling, sampling, visual inspections, and product-flow activities.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, clear jams, identify defects, and escalate quality or operational concerns.
• Complete inventory reconciliation in SAP and WES, batch records, GMP documentation, and required calculations.
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, line clearances, safety procedures, and cGMP activities.
• Support lean improvement initiatives, equipment qualification, process validation, training, and daily Tier 0 meetings.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with accurate batch records, logbooks, documentation, data entry, and routine mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interpret SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Ability to follow written procedures with minimal supervision, identify deviations, and escalate issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and use material-handling equipment.
• Ability to perform non-sedentary work, including climbing, kneeling, repetitive motion, temperature changes, PPE use, and exerting up to 100 pounds of force.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• 1+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, cGMP principles, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
