Advanced Manufacturing Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN; onsite laboratory and production environment

Salary: $22.00–$30.25 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble and produce science products ranging from low to moderately complex according to established specifications.
• Perform labeling, formulation, plate coating, data collection, interpretation, and production recordkeeping.
• Operate, calibrate, and verify laboratory and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain laboratory readiness, complete minor equipment repairs, and troubleshoot routine production and technical issues.
• Investigate product histories, recommend approved parameter adjustments, and contribute to workflow and process improvements.
• Collaborate across teams, support project work, and assist with training and onboarding employees or peers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on moderately complex tasks.
• Analytical and predictive ability, knowledge of multiple processes or products, and strong technical knowledge.
• Ability to follow laboratory protocols, SOPs, safety requirements, chemical-handling procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5–50 lbs and perform repetitive laboratory tasks while standing and walking for extended periods.
• Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
